{"id":290,"date":"2016-12-16T07:00:52","date_gmt":"2016-12-16T07:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demo.proteusthemes.com\/consultpress-lite\/?page_id=290"},"modified":"2017-06-22T12:19:57","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T12:19:57","slug":"documentation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/demo.proteusthemes.com\/consultpress-lite\/documentation\/","title":{"rendered":"Documentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"installation\">Installation<\/h2>\n<p>I assume you already have a fresh copy of <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/\">WordPress<\/a> installed on your server.<\/p>\n<p>You can install the ConsultPress Lite\u00a0WordPress Theme in two different ways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Upload a zip file<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you are logged in your WordPress dashboard go to <i>Appearance \u00bb Themes \u00bb Add New \u00bb Upload Theme<\/i> and select the zip file <code>consultpress-lite.zip<\/code>\u00a0and click <b>Install Now<\/b> button.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FTP upload<\/strong><br \/>\nUnzip the contents of the <code>consulpress-lite.zip<\/code> file and upload the folder named <code>consultpress-lite<\/code>\u00a0to your server to\u00a0<code>wp-uploads\/themes\/<\/code> folder using a FTP client.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once your theme is on the server, activate it by clicking the <b>Activate<\/b> button below the preview image in <i>Appearance -&gt; Themes.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations! Now the ConsultPress Lite\u00a0WordPress Theme is installed.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"customizer-and-theme-options\">Customizer &amp; Theme Options<\/h2>\n<p>All ConsultPress Lite\u00a0Theme Options can be found in the Customizer: <b>Appearance \u00bb Customize<\/b>. This is a live preview editor for your page.<\/p>\n<p>Here you can change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Logo<\/li>\n<li>Theme Brand Color<\/li>\n<li>Layout<\/li>\n<li>Custom Code<\/li>\n<li>Footer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Header Widgets<\/h2>\n<p>In our demo, we have a special place in the upper right corner of the site for widgets in the header area. In lite version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.proteusthemes.com\/wordpress-themes\/consultpress\/\">ConsultPress<\/a>, you can put a text widget with the icon and text. For example, you can see the phone number and email address in our demo.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the code which we added in text widget for phone number\u00a0<code>&lt;i class=\"fa fa-phone\" aria-hidden=\"true\"&gt;&lt;\/i&gt; 1-888-123-4567<\/code> and for email address\u00a0<code>&lt;i class=\"fa fa-envelope\" aria-hidden=\"true\"&gt;&lt;\/i&gt; hi@consultpress.com<\/code><\/p>\n<p>You can also use any other icon from <a href=\"http:\/\/fontawesome.io\/icons\/\">Font Awesome icons<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Installation I assume you already have a fresh copy of WordPress installed on your server.
