Questions

Before you call.

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our front desk is happy to help, and nobody minds a quick question.

(555) 012-3456

Do you see exotic pets?

We see rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and pet birds. For reptiles we work with a nearby specialist and can refer you the same day.

What should I bring to our first visit?

Any past medical records, a list of current medications and food, and a fresh stool sample if you can manage it. Dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier, please.

Can I stay with my pet during the exam?

Almost always, yes. Most pets are calmer with you close by. For a few procedures, like X-rays, we’ll ask you to wait in the lounge for a few minutes.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Our wellness plans spread routine care into monthly payments, and we can split larger bills into smaller installments. Ask the front desk for details.

What happens with after-hours emergencies?

Call our emergency line any time. A nurse answers day or night, talks you through what to do and, if needed, gets the on-call vet in to meet you.

How can I prepare a nervous cat for a visit?

Leave the carrier out at home for a few days with a soft blanket inside, and skip breakfast so treats work their magic. We’ll take you straight to our quiet cat room.
