07:45

Morning drop-off

A nurse weighs Honey, checks she skipped breakfast and confirms the best number to reach you.

08:30

Blood panel

A quick blood test makes sure anesthesia is safe for her. Results are back in twenty minutes.

09:30

Cleaning and X-rays

Asleep and monitored: X-rays, a deep clean above and below the gum line, a polish and the tooth chart.

12:00

Waking up

Honey wakes in a warm recovery kennel with a nurse beside her, and we text you a photo.

15:30

Home time

We walk you through the tooth chart, home care and pain relief, then book her next check.

What changes the price

Every mouth is different, and X-rays show what the eye can’t. Extractions, a deeper clean under the gum or extra pain relief can change the total. If we find something, we call you with the new number before we do anything.

Prices are examples. Your vet writes your estimate after the exam.

Questions

Asked at the desk every week.

Still unsure? Call and ask for a nurse. Nobody minds a quick question.

(555) 012-3456

Does my pet really need anesthesia for a cleaning?

Yes. Most dental disease sits below the gum line, where we can only clean and X-ray safely while your pet is asleep. A cleaning without anesthesia only polishes what you can already see.

Is anesthesia safe for an older pet?

Age is not a disease. The blood panel on the morning tells us how your pet is doing inside, and a nurse watches breathing, heart rate and temperature from start to finish.

What if a tooth needs to come out?

We call you first, explain what the X-ray shows and give you the cost before we do anything. If we can’t reach you, we leave the tooth and plan a second visit.

How often does my pet need a cleaning?

Most dogs and cats need one every one to two years, small breeds more often. We look at teeth at every wellness exam and tell you when it’s time.
