Bad breath isn’t just a quirk. It’s usually the first sign of plaque and gum disease, and by the time a pet stops eating on one side, the problem has been there for a while.
What happens during a cleaning
Your pet is under monitored anesthesia with a nurse beside them the whole time. We take digital X-rays, clean above and below the gum line, polish, and check every tooth. Anything that needs attention is discussed with you before we do it.
Helping at home
- Brush a few times a week with a pet toothpaste, starting slowly.
- Ask us which dental chews actually help.
- Book a dental check at every wellness visit.
