The first year is busy, and it goes by fast. A clear plan for vaccines, parasite prevention and checkups means fewer surprises and a puppy who’s relaxed at the clinic for life.
8 to 10 weeks
A full nose-to-tail exam, the first core vaccines, deworming and a long chat about food, sleep and house training. Bring any paperwork from the breeder or shelter.
12 to 16 weeks
- Booster vaccines, spaced three to four weeks apart.
- Lifestyle vaccines if your puppy will board, hike or visit dog parks.
- Flea, tick and heartworm prevention started or adjusted for weight.
6 months and beyond
We talk about spay or neuter timing, check adult teeth as they come in, and plan the first adult wellness visit. Our Puppy and kitten plan covers all of these visits for one monthly price.
